TeachPTY is an organization founded in Panama, Rep. of Panama, dedicated mainly to teaching basic English using interactive/creative methods. Our objective is to attract young professionals, college students and recently graduated individuals who want an unforgettable experience while giving back to the community. We are located in the small town of Pedasi, in the province of Los Santos and our goal is to expand to the rest of the country in the future.

WHAT WE OFFER
TEACHING – GIVING BACK
You can teach English to children in Pedasi 4 times a week; purpose travelers will teach the after-school program from 2 – 5 PM. Our methodology follows the rules of interactive learning, with full on guidelines making it easy for our purpose seeking travelers to take over and follow the program.
No experience? Don’t panic, we will be helping you all along the way.
Just keep in mind our only rule…. HAVE FUN!!!
TRAVELING – EXPLORING
Pedasi is a small colonial town located South West of Panama, 4 hours in car from Panama City. It is a charming town surrounded by beautiful white sand beaches, with multiple activities to choose from. You will have 3 days a week off to explore Pedasi and why not the rest of the country? We will be there to assist you with your travel plans!!
LEARNING – EXCHANGING EXPERIENCES
The learning experience is not only for the children of rural Pedasi but for purpose travelers too!! We aim to enhance a cross-cultural experience so children and purpose travelers can learn from each other, whether if this means a new language or tradition.
Our goal is to bring the world closer by connecting people from different backgrounds, ages and uprisings, no matter where they come from, and give them the opportunity to experience a new language and culture.
HOW TO APPLY
1. Complete our Purpose Traveler Application Form
2. Do a call interview with us to verify your level of English
3. Receive our approval with your placement information.
4. Issue a payment (20% is required within the 1st week after approval)
5. Purchase your flight ticket and send us the details
